Dinner with Strangers is a community-oriented project that seeks to foster connections between members of the Middlebury community who may not otherwise cross paths. At each dinner, guests—Middlebury faculty, staff, students, and community members—gather to enjoy a home cooked meal in an environment that encourages meaningful conversation and new friendships with some of the people who make Middlebury such a special place. With the first community dinners dating back to 2016 and continuing through 2019, Dinners with Strangers has been restarted in the 2023-2024 school year to encourage meaningful relationship building among a new cohort of students and community members.
