Treeline Terrains was created by three students – Alex Gemme ’21, Jacob Freedman ’21, and Nathaniel Klein ’21 – who shared in their love of skiing to develop an innovative new way to explore their favorite mountains. With the support of the Treehouse Fund, the group was able to purchase resources that allowed their digital models to take form as topographic wood carvings. Today, Gemme, Freedman, and Klein remain influential in the Vermont entrepreneurial space and Treeline Terrains has only continued to grow and flourish, with commissioned carvings spanning the globe. A true embodiment of the Treehouse Fund spirit, the company has also found ways to give back to local foundations and supports local sawmills to ensure a sustainable process from start to finish.
